The practice opened in February 1991with 3 members of staff - a vet, a nurse and a wife! Since then we have expanded and now have 4 veterinary surgeons, a vet nurse, trainee vet nurse, animal care students, stock and office managers.
Your animals health is our priority and our dedicated friendly staff will do everything they can to help you and your pet.
House calls are made at the practice, although these are usually for emergencies only.
Prescriptions and special food orders - 24 hours notice in advance is helpful. You can order over the phone or at the surgery.
Large animal calls are usually done in the morning. It is helpful for farm visits to be in by 10am for that days visit. It is difficult to set a time for these calls, and we do try to get to the farm as near to the booked time as possible - much more difficult during the summer months.
The surgery is open throughout the day between 8am - 6pm weekdays and 9am - 1pm on Saturdays. Emergency calls after hours please phone 017366 755555 and we will arrange for the duty vet to speak to you or to arrange an appointment if necessary.
Homoeopathic appointments are also available at the surgery.
